The moment we've all been waiting for.....

We are so extremely excited (more than excited) to announce our great news. Lavender & Linen is about to have it's very own location!!

We have come such a long way since the beginning of our journey in April of last year. Starting this business on a love of crafting, pretty fabrics,and all things vintage, we sewed and glued and got together a website and business cards, packed up a mini van and headed off to the annual Safe Kids Baby Expo in Columbus, Ga. We had absolutely no idea what to expect but our hard work paid off and we had an amazing time!

After that we tried our hands at a few more craft fairs, opened up our Etsy shop and then an amazing opportunity came our way. We started consigning some of our products at Resurrect Antiques in Opelika and Lavender & Linen really started to take off!

Now we have been incredibly blessed with the opportunity to rent a space in Resurrect's new building! Allow me to introduce you to Lavender & Linen's very own, vintage baby boutique!!

Yes, it needs a lot of TLC but we are getting there! Go like our page on facebook so you can watch our progress. We will be painting, decorating and getting our DIY on as we prepare for opening day! It seems so amazing to me that in less than a year of starting our business we have been blessed with a location... We are so excited to see where this next year takes us!

A little birthday goodness

One of my absolute favorite things about what I do is custom orders. I LOVE throwing ideas around in my head, working with people to make exactly what they want. It's great when people send me photos of ideas and color schemes that they have in mind. You get to be creative and experiment. So when I got to make a couple things for Miss Q's absolutely precious first birthday party I was thrilled to say the least. Little missy makes everything extra adorable so these photos are sure to make you squeal just as loudly as I did!

We mustache you a question....

Don't you just LOVE our new baby sets? I was in my happy place yesterday designing these sets to put in our Etsy shop.
Our new Mustache set comes with a covered wipe case for the diaper bag, a reversible bib with mustache print fabric on one side and soft chenille with an adorable striped bow tie on the other side. Also included is a passy clip with fun mustache ribbon and a snap clip to keep a leash on passy. This set is perfect for any stylish little guy.

This set is one of my favorites. Our Clothesline set comes with an adorable wipe case to keep in your diaper bag, a chenille backed bib and a soft burp cloth with a sweet vintage doily. This set is made with moda fabrics and washes wonderfully. Any one would love this precious set for their baby girl.

For our first bit of news.... You can find Lavender & Linen locally at Resurrect Antiques in Opelika, AL and we just delivered a new batch of fall inspired products this week including, burlap wreaths, burlap and lace table runners, chenille and burlap pumpkins and also some fabulous book page banners!
